  TI Singapore collaborated with EZ-Link Pte. Ltd. (www.ezlink.com.sg) to implement EZ-Link card acceptance at Takashimaya’s food court. The 50 merchants will each have a Pax EDC terminal and contact-less card reader at their Stalls and customers can pay via their EZ-Link by tapping his/her card on the reader when paying for their food.

Trans Infotech (Vietnam) won another contract to supply Pax EDC terminals to Vietcombank. “This is a strong endorsement of Trans Infotech’s services from the largest acquiring bank in Vietnam”, said Freddy Chong, CEO of the group.

   
 

The incorporation of Trans Infotech (Laos) Ltd. has been completed. Work is being done to have the office operational in the next two months. Dennis Law from Singapore will be based in Laos to manage this operation.

Mai Linh Taxi company in Vietnam has successfully launched the in-taxi payment system using Trans Infotech’s EDC terminals and payment gateway on a pilot fleet of about 400 taxis. The system enables the use of Mai Linh’s corporate card, local bank ATM card, Visa and MasterCard to pay for the fare. Mai Linh will implement this across its entire fleet of 5,000 taxis in the coming months.
